The Commercial Vehicles and Aftermarket Business Unit
The division of commercial cehicles and aftermarket (VC & PM) business unit of Continental accommodates the specific needs of commercial vehicles / special aftermarket. A global network of sales and service companies to ensure close monitoring and local customers.
Covering the Continental product brands, VDO, and ATE Barum, the business unit offers electronic products, systems, services for cars / specials and a wide selection of products for specialized workshops and spare parts for the aftermarket.
With over 80 years of experience in the commercial vehicles segment, this business unit develops and manufactures products that make vehicles safer, cleaner, more fuel-efficient and makes daily utilization more efficient.
Along with its original equipment products, the CV & PM offers a comprehensive line of products, which include a wide range of parts for brakes, replacement parts for motor actuators, actuators for braking systems, fuel central systems, sensors and HVAC systems, monitoring tire pressure systems and a multi-brand diagnostic system and diesel engines repair.
The business unit is also responsible for supplying replacement parts, for example when a series is discontinued by the manufacturer of the vehicle (Original Equipment Services - OES), the organization assumes full responsibility for the product, including sales, distribution, logistics, production and quality assurance.
